In the end, after two hours of solid uninterrupted reading, I decided to call it a day, I never knew that there were so many low cost dating ideas and yes they do cost typically less than 20 dollars. I hate to admit it, but I took up one or two of the ideas to kind of test out on my wife.

What I liked about 300 Creative Dating Ideas
As I mentioned earlier, I liked the organisation of the book by categories as it made it easy to find a suitable date idea.
For a lot of people especially Christians who may be starting out dating online, there was a category set apart for long distance relationships which can be easily adapted for dating online. The idea being that by the time you have your first physical meeting you have shared a lot of activities online.
This book has a long shelf life and is applicable at all stages through the dating stages to when a couple become married and is a great way to keep the spark going on in marriage.
The book specialises in practical and interesting low cost dating ideas and so budgetry considerations are no excuse not to be romantic.
I liked the fact that the book contained some contributions from other people apart from the author which helped add colour.
I winced when I read through the do's and dont's, as well as the dating disasters, having actually done one or two of the things one should most certainly not do. The only excuse I can offer is that I was young at the time.
Finally, having read through the book, my sense of adventure was kindled and I succeeded into turning a transit trip through an airport into a romantic experience.
What I did not like about 300 Creative dating ideas
One of the categories, sporting or dates involving sports, was definitely an after thought and the book needed some really good ideas. Anway, other people may differ in their opinion.

4. Different Dinner Dates - Great ideas on how to use your imagination to make that dinner date extraordinary. Believe it or not I was surprised to see ideas for long distance dinner dating. This may be a good time to invest in a Skype Internet phone.
5. Vacation Dates - Some great ideas for married couples, sorry singles.
6. Picnic Dates - I was surprised at some of the locations, how about just outside your office or college, this section takes the prizes in originality.
7. Game Dates - Some very unusual dating ideas including a cycle run?... I will never look at cyclists the same way again. Some outstanding ideas on how to make board games and puzzles absolutely romantic.
8. Craft Dates - The focus is on creative work together, this allows for great relationship building as well as projects that act as mementoes.
9. Sports/Outdoor Dates - Some ideas for outdoor types, but certainly not the most memorable section of the book.
10. Long Distance Dates - I wish I had this book when I was dating the lady who is now my wife. We were separated by 6500 Kilometres ( 4000 miles ) and a three hour time difference, this would have made the experience more rewarding for the both of us.
11. Asking Someone Out - Some great ideas if you are tongue tied by the thought of being turned down.
12. Dating Disasters - Some rather interesting stories. I can relate to a few of them, once you see the red flag, move on. That way you will avoid a great deal of heart ache and avoid marrying the WRONG person which is literally HELL ON EARTH.
13. Date Coupons - Coupons to be printed out and given to your loved one. This is one section my wife WILL NEVER SEE. It is guaranteed to send you to the top of the Romantics table.
